    Disclosure and Barring Service
    From the 17th of June 2013 the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) have merged into the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). To work for Holland Griffiths Recruit Limited with children aged 18 years and under you must have an up to date Enhanced DBS check. The DBS launched the update service to remove the need for applicants to apply for a new criminal records certificate each time they move roles. It is your responsibility to register with the update service. This will allow Holland Griffiths Recruit Limited to carry out an online check on your DBS status without the need to apply for a new certificate. If however you are not registered with the update service a new application may be required.
     
    I understand that:
    • Holland Griffiths Recruit Limited will carry out periodic status checks on the DBS update service.
    • Holland Griffiths Recruit Limited have a responsibility to disclose the contents of my DBS checks to schools.
    • Holland Griffiths Recruit Limited will retain a copy of my certificate for their records.

    If a new certificate is required I acknowledge that payment at the current rate is due for the purpose of my DBS Enhanced application being processed. I understand that Holland Griffiths Recruit Limited cannot be held responsible for any delays in the return or content of the disclosure.
